Faithful Supporters

MIFA’s faithful supporters include the people, congregations and businesses whose time and financial support keep MIFA running. These private donors supplement MIFA’s public support with $4 million in funding per year. They also provide valuable in-kind items, such as furniture and clothing, for The MIFA Store or for families in the Housing Opportunities program.

Approximately 4,000 volunteers fill what would otherwise be almost 150 full-time positions valued at more than $2 million per year. Hundreds of local congregations comprise a large portion of MIFA’s donor and volunteer base, while several major corporations and smaller businesses provide sponsorships for events and fundraising activities.
