Donate to The MIFA Store!
• Poceeds from your purchases benefit MIFA programs.
• MIFA provides store vouchers to victims of fires and other natural disasters.
• It gives you the opportunity to give back to the community.
• All donations are tax-deductible and can be claimed on your tax return.
Items we accept:
• Non-perishable food items such as canned goods
• Personal care and hygiene products in new, unused condition
• Household goods (i.e. non-flammable materials)
• Small electrical appliances
• Furniture
• Clothing and accessories
• Toys
Items we cannot accept:
• Household chemicals such as pesticides, flammable materials and storage containers (i.e. gas cans, butane tanks, etc).
• Prescription drugs
• Any personal care and food products that have been tampered, exceed their expiration date, or repackaged.
• Perishable food items (i.e. fresh produce, bakery items, refrigerated and frozen items etc)
• Electrical appliances with torn, frayed, broken cords or which present a visible danger to others.
• Toys that resemble weapons or present a visible danger to children (i.e. broken or sharp edges).
Scheduling Donation Pickups
Making a donation to The MIFA Store is easy. You can schedule a pick-up for large items anytime during the week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Just contact Mary Williams at (901) 529-4505 or e-mail: mwilliams@mifa.org
