Volunteer Ombudsman Training
8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
There
will be a two-part training session for volunteer Ombudsmen on Saturdays May 10
and 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3
p.m. Another training session will take place in September, dates
TBA. These valuable volunteers advocate for the rights of nursing home
residents through MIFA’s Ombudsman program in Shelby, Fayette, Tipton and Lauderdale Counties. To become certified,
volunteers must complete 15 hours of classroom and on-site training. Do you
have the dedication it takes to be a volunteer Ombudsman? Contact Linda Marks, volunteer
