MIFA's Circle of Hope is a circle of generous individuals who give $1,000 or more in a fiscal year. With the help of these dealers in hope, MIFA has helped more than 1 million Mid-Southerners rebuild their lives through life-sustaining services including:
• The ONLY FREE meals program for frail, homebound, seniors in a four-county area.
• The ONLY free senior companion program, placing trained companions in the homes of the frail elderly.
• The ONLY teen jobs program in the Memphis-area with a full-time higher education counselor on staff providing guidance for up to three years.
• The ONLY advocacy program for residents of nursing homes, assisted-living facilities and care homes in a four-county area.
• The ONLY transitional housing program for entire families which provides a structured educational program teaching valuable life skills.
• The ONLY service regularly providing free wheelchair ramps for low-income senior homeowners.
