Going green with virtual volunteerism

We are almost halfway to our goal of offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions produced by MIFA's Transit program.  So far 34 people have pledged to change their behaviors by recycling bottles, planting trees, or turning off lights at night.  Their pledges mean that the greenhouse gas emissions in Memphis will be reduced by 340,610 pounds during the course of a year.  We have 347,050 pounds to go, so we are really almost halfway there.  That is a huge difference, and we want to thank everyone for participating!

It is never too late to start making a difference in your community by being a better steward of the environment.  Learn some easy ways to go green today!
