MIFA Handyman
Handyman works with volunteers to provide handicap accessibility modifications and neighborhood beautification. Projects include the construction of wheelchair ramps for low-income Memphis residents, as well as yard work and house painting for low-income seniors who own their homes and live in targeted neighborhoods (FY2012 neighborhood: ZIP code 38109). Handyman also collects and distributes donated wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids, and offers education on basic home maintenance and energy efficiency.
