Corporate partnerships

March for Meals will feature televised public service announcements throughout the month of March; a direct mail piece sent to approximately 6,000 donors; posters and other marketing collateral for each restaurant location; and the sale of March for Meals pin-ups. Advertising is also planned for local media outlets such as The Best Times, the Memphis Flyer and preview screens at Paradiso, Studio on the Square and Desoto Malco movie screens.

The following benefits will be provided to each restaurant partner:
  • Name and/or logo recognition on 2008 March for Meals marketing collateral and mail pieces. Each participating restaurant and food service provider will be listed in a mail piece to approximately 6,000 donors, encouraging them to patronize participating establishments during the month of March.
  • Inclusion in all press materials and media communication. March for Meals will be featured in PSAs, presented by Joe Birch (a dedicated, long-time meals volunteer) and Coach John Calipari. Our media sponsor, Channel 5, will frequently remind its audiences about the participating locations.
  • Participation recognized in the MIFA newsletter, Hope in Action, which is distributed to more than 15,000 people.
  • Participation recognized in MIFA’s Annual Report, which is distributed to more than 15,000 people.
  • Inclusion on all posters and restaurant collateral pieces, such as tent cards and table displays, and press releases.
  • Team building opportunities through meal delivery volunteer involvement—your employees can enjoy the fulfilment of delivering a meal to a hungry senior.
  • Each participating location and provider will receive a certificate of recognition to display, showing customers they are a valued partner of MIFA.
For the last 40 years, MIFA has helped many individuals as they face life changing situations. Although we have accomplished tremendous achievements since 1968, MIFA continues to need the help and generosity of the community.
