Bricks to move from Pyramid to University of Memphis

We are very excited about the city’s recent announcement that the plaza tribute bricks purchased by MIFA’s donors and placed in 1991 are, in fact, salvageable. Thanks to a cooperative effort among Bass Pro Shops, the City of Memphis, and the University of Memphis, the 12,539 bricks will follow the Ramesses statue to U of M’s campus later this year.

Donors who prefer to keep their bricks will have an opportunity to retrieve them before they are placed at U of M (date TBD).

This process has been confusing at times, and we appreciate your patience as the city has worked to find a new home for the bricks. Thank you for your continued support!
