Ongoing volunteer needs

• Assist with childcare while parents attend Life Skills classes, Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Learn more.
• Improve the community by landscaping MIFA's properties! Learn more.
• Design and teach a Life Skills class to clients in MIFA Housing Opportunities or serve as a guest lecturer or mentor. Learn more.
• Advocate for the rights of nursing home residents by becoming a Long-Term Care Ombudsman volunteer. Learn more.
• Brighten the day of a home-bound senior by delivering MIFA Meals Monday through Friday. Deliver one time, once a month, or even once a week! Learn more.
• Assemble birthday gift bags for our MIFA Meals clients! You might provide the only birthday gift a Senior Meals client receives. Learn more.
• Help sort, organize, price, and display clothing and household items in The MIFA Store, or organize your own clothing drive! Learn more.
• Seniors over age 60 can serve as Senior Companions for homebound peers. Learn more.
• Help the development staff raise money and awareness for MIFA by helping with mailings, special events, and other activities. Learn more.
