Inclement Weather Policy
While MIFA strives to avoid service disruption, inclement weather may necessitate the temporary suspension of client services.
MIFA leadership makes decisions about closure or suspension of services on a case-by-case basis when severe weather conditions are expected.
In the event of a service change, Meals on Wheels volunteers will be informed by email as soon as possible. Volunteers should make their own decision as to whether to risk driving in snow, ice, or other severe weather conditions.
